Worst place to have coffee and Italian desserts! Tiramisu was like a Safeway La Lechera cake (but the last one is even better tastes). Panna Cotta was awful as well, it was like a low fat milk jelly...

I have always loved this restaurant but they have done an amazing job during the shutdown. Their food is always fabulous and when DoorDash screwed up my order, they fixed it immediately.

Delicious food and great attention from the employees, also taking care that you are well served. You feel in Italy in this place and the pasta is delicious. The price is not cheap but it is also not too expensive, making sense with the quality of the food served here. Recommended!

Food was amazing. Great service, we had a party of 6 on a Saturday night and it was a very enjoyable. Only thing, it was a little tight, but worth it. Food was amazing!

Great traditional spaghetti Bolognese... very heavy meat sauce. Nice heated patio, dog friendly. Only disappointment was the tiramisu, would opt for the creme brulee next time.

Really nice establishment! White tablecloths, excellent service. Food is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced for the Bay Area. Not over salted. A favorite when visiting our doctors at Sequoia Hospital.

Great place for cocktails! Drinks are tasty and the service is excellent! Place has a chill ambiance and mood lighting. They also have delicious banana splits for dessert. We came here for cocktails before having dinner next door at stateside then came back to try the lemongrass ice cream banana split. Such a unique dessert and we loved it. It was so tasty and a great mix of flavours and textures.

Hot day so we had the seafood ceviche and the tuna tartare - both very good. Paired with a cold class of Pinot Grigio, it was a lovely respite.

Food is delicious and service is awesome. Cocktails are very good too.

This is a great restaurant to celebrate any special event .the food is very good and the wine and beer are always a viable. The crew is very polite and professional.If you looking for great restaurant came to this and you will love the place.

All of the food we tried was delicious and the weight staff was very kind. We had gnocchi and cannelloni this trip. We’ve been here many times over the years and never had a bad meal

Awesome restaurant. Not the biggest spot but it's worth any wait. Appetizers and main courses were prepared perfectly. On weekends parking can be hard to find on Laurel St. so be prepared for that.

Of the many fine restaurants in San Carlos, Spasso has become our go-to place. Great food and service. Not cheap, but top quality never is. We especially like the arugula salad and the grilled salmon, but there are many fine options on the menu and the specials are often outstanding. Really a nice place!

I went there for a team lunch and got their chicken bolognese. It was delicious. I'd get that again.

Our server was great but the food was bad. There was no quality to the dishes. I took my team here for dinner, so between us we had most of the dishes on the menu. I can honestly say we all left disappointed. There were no good dishes.

Best place ever!

We were excited to try this place after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, it was flat out bad. Putting aside the fact that they brought my partner the wrong drink twice, the food was awful. Her ravioli was almost a soup. Perhaps they were going for al dente but her pasta was simply hard and not thoroughly cooked. My seafood pasta was as bland as that dish can get. One of the worst dining experiences we've had since moving to the Bay area. Do not recommend.

YUM. You can't go wrong with the black pepper fettuccine. Their mushroom ravioli is good too. Ambience is charming and quaint since they designed the place to simulate the interior of an Italian villa; there are brick-bordered "windows" on the wall which frame painted images of the Italian countryside. There's also a fake terra cotta tile roof over the kitchen area. One snag during our meal here was that the server brought us the wrong bill at first, but he recognized his mistake and brought the right one a few minutes later.
